Historical guided tours in the old-town of Harderwijk

A visit to Harderwijk is certainly worthwhile. The history of the city dates back almost 800 years. The original lay-out of the streets has survived throughout the centuries.

It’s easy to find remains of the former university, military garrison or the old fishing town. Many ancient monuments take you back in time during your stroll around the old-town. The ‘Grote kerk’ (Main church), the old cityhall, Catharina’s Chapel and other restored buildings give Harderwijk a unique historical atmosphere.

Our well-informed guides will only be too pleased to show you around, making your visit an unforgettable one. Reservation is inevitable. There’s no charge, however a voluntary donation is always greatfully accepted.
